At Innersense Aesthetics Medical, we offer expert minor skin surgery carried out by Nurse Lorna in our CQC registered clinic.

Nurse Lorna specialises in the safe and effective removal of benign skin lesions such as lipomas, cysts, moles and cherry angiomas. Every patient receives a thorough consultation and examination where Nurse Lorna will recommend the most suitable procedure.

What to Expect

• Procedure: Lesions are removed under local anaesthetic to aide your comfort during the procedure.
• Histology: We ensure when required that excised lesions are sent for Histology testing for laboratory testing to ensure complete safety and reassurance. Results are usually available within 6 weeks and a letter is sent to you and your GP

• Aftercare: You will be supported by our nursing team for follow-up care, including suture removal (if required) and dressing changes.
• Wrap around care We will write to you and your GP with any results and ongoing care requirements.

• Lipomas - soft, fatty lumps beneath the skin
• Cysts - fluid-filled sacs, that can become inflamed
• Moles - pigmented skin growths that may change in size or appearance
• Cherry Angiomas – small, red, vascular skin lesions
